Signal vs Cekura
Cekura bills for voice testing minutes and monitored calls. Signal reads your Retell flow and calls and names the step to fix.
In short
Cekura's public pricing bills for minutes of voice testing and for monitored production calls, so it sells simulated testing and production monitoring. You can start on pay as you go with free credits, move to a monthly Startup plan paid in credits, or sign an Enterprise contract with VPC or on-premises deployment, SSO, SCIM and audit logs. This page covers what that pricing shows; for how Cekura tests and monitors calls, see their site. Signal does a narrower job. It reads your Retell agent's flow and production calls, places each repeated failure on a step with a cause, and checks a new version against real callers with a significance test.

Choose Cekura if
- You need simulated test calls at volume: Cekura bills voice testing by the minute, and its Startup credits are sized at about 2,000 minutes of it. Signal has no synthetic callers; its simulated tests replay stored production calls.
- You want to pay only for what you use, with no plan: pay as you go bills each monitored call and testing minute, and the first user is free.
- Your calls run long: Cekura prices monitoring per call rather than per minute, while Signal counts every minute of a call once it has started.
- You need VPC or on-premises deployment, SCIM or audit logs: Cekura lists them on Enterprise, under annual contracts.
Choose Signal if
- You want each issue placed on the step, tool or transition where it happens, with a cause that says how it is known, or 'cause not established'.
- You want 'the fix worked' measured on production calls, with a verdict only when the difference is real.
- You want a first board without writing anything: you approve a one-page brief drafted from your configuration.
- You want a flat monthly bill: calls past your credits wait for the next month or an upgrade, with no overage charge.
- You want a tool that reads your Retell agent over the API and registers no webhook.

List prices read on from each vendor's pricing page.
Signal's price includes the copilot, simulated tests, the API and the MCP server, all paid from its credits. The other figures cover monitoring only.
How each figure was built
- Signal
- Computed from Signal's plans: the smallest plan with enough credits for the volume at 3 minutes a call, at its monthly or annual price.
- Tuner
- About 5 credits a call (from "5,000 credits (~1,000 calls)"). 10,000 calls is 50,000 credits, $39 plus 45,000 × $0.0075. 50,000 calls is 250,000 credits, $399 plus 190,000 × $0.007. Tuner shows no annual discount. Tuner pricing
- Cekura
- "$0.05 per monitored call", flat, so length does not matter. Cekura pricing
- Coval
- Growth $500 plus 40,000 calls over. The page prints the overage as "$0.05/monitoring min" while including calls, so the unit is ambiguous: $2,000 over if per call, $6,000 over if per minute. Coval pricing
- Bluejay
- 150,000 monitoring minutes against 34,000 included, 116,000 over at 1.5x of the implied $1,000 / 34,000 a minute. The implied rate is derived, not printed. Bluejay pricing
- Roark
- 5 metrics at $0.02 each plus $0.024 transcription is $0.124 a minute. At 1,000 calls usage is $372, so the $500 minimum applies. At 50,000 calls Roark would negotiate an Enterprise deal (floor "$4,000+"). Roark pricing
- Retell AI QA add-on
- "$0.10/min" after "First 100 minutes free", assuming the free minutes renew monthly (the page does not say). It sits on top of Retell's voice fees. Retell pricing
- Hamming
- Hamming prints no price. Its own blog estimates "~$2-5K/month for most teams", a vendor estimate and not a price. Hamming pricing Hamming blog estimate
How Cekura works
This page covers what Cekura’s public pricing shows, read on 2 October 2026. It does not describe how their testing or monitoring works, how they connect to Retell, or how they report a problem. For that, see their site.
Their plans bill in two units that matter here: minutes of voice testing and monitored calls. So Cekura sells two things, simulated test calls and production monitoring, and on pay as you go you pay for each as you use it. Monitoring is priced per call, not per minute. Pay as you go also has a rate per reply.
Plans differ in seats, history and scale. Pay as you go has one project, 30 days of logs and a concurrency limit of 10. Startup has 10 seats, five projects, 90 days of logs and a concurrency limit of 50. Enterprise lists VPC or on-premises deployment, SSO, SCIM and audit logs, on annual contracts.
Where Signal differs
This page covers only Cekura’s pricing, so this section says what Signal does and leaves the feature comparison to their site.
Where the problem is. Signal reads your flow, including every step and transition, and places each issue on the step, tool or transition where it happens. Calls are grouped by the one change that would fix them.
How sure it is. Every cause says how it is known: measured by the platform, visible in the trace, inferred by a model, or not established. When nothing in the calls confirms a cause, it says so.
Proof on production. When a new version ships, Signal compares before and after once it has taken calls for a grace period, and says whether the difference is real or that there are not enough calls yet.
Nothing to set up first. You approve a one-page brief drafted from your configuration. Signal reads Retell over the API and registers no webhook.
Where Cekura is stronger. Simulated testing at volume, priced by the minute. Signal‘s simulated tests replay stored production calls against a draft, within a monthly credit balance, and it has no synthetic callers. Cekura also offers usage pricing with no plan, and VPC or on-premises deployment, SCIM and audit logs on Enterprise. Signal does none of these.
What it costs
Cekura has three plans. Pay as you go has no monthly fee: the first user is free, you get free credits to start with no card, and after that you pay per monitored call, per minute of voice testing and per reply. Each extra seat adds a monthly fee.
Startup is a monthly fee paid as credits, month to month and cancellable at any time. Their page sizes those credits at about 2,000 minutes of voice testing and about 10,000 monitored calls. It does not print what Startup charges past its credits. Enterprise is custom, on annual contracts.
The price table on this page compares monitoring only. It leaves out voice testing, which Cekura bills by the minute.
Signal charges a flat monthly plan with one balance of credits: each minute of a call costs a credit once it has started, and tests and the copilot draw on the same balance. Adding a check does not change the bill, and there is no charge per metric. There are no overage charges either: calls past the balance are stored, and analysed when the month resets or after an upgrade.
Using both
Signal reads Retell over the API and registers no webhook, so it leaves your agent’s settings as they are, whatever Cekura’s integration needs.
- Signal reads production and names the issue: the step, the cause, the calls behind it.
- You test the change with Cekura’s voice testing before it ships.
- After release, Signal checks production: did the issue shrink, and did anything else get worse.
